The Arab Air Carriers’ Organization (AACO) will convene its 58th Annual General Meeting (AGM) from 3 to 5 November 2025 at the Four Seasons Hotel at Kasr Al Bahr in Rabat, Morocco, held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and hosted by Royal Air Maroc.
Bringing together more than 300 senior executives and experts from across the Arab and global aviation sectors, the AGM will feature the participation of Chief Executive Officers of AACO member airlines, along with partner airlines and representatives from leading aircraft and engine manufacturers, information technology providers, and other strategic industry partners.
The official opening will take place on Monday, 3 November, at the Outdoor Terrace of the Convention Center at the Four Seasons Hotel. The opening will be inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Abdessamad Kayouh, Minister of Transport & Logistics who will give the speech on behalf of the Patron of the 58th AGM His Majesty King Mohammed VI. This will be followed by a speech by Mr. Abdelhamid Addou, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Royal Air Maroc and Chairman of the 58th AGM, followed by an address from Mr. Abdul Wahab Teffaha, AACO Secretary General.
The working sessions will begin on Tuesday, 4 November, at the Royal Ballroom at the Convention Center of the Four Seasons Hotel, featuring the State of the Industry Report presented by Mr. Teffaha. Keynote addresses will follow, delivered by Mr. Abdennebi Manar, Director General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), highlighting shared priorities between AACO and ACAO, and Mr. Willie Walsh, Director General of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), addressing global aviation challenges.
A highlight of the day will be a high-level CEOs Panel Discussion, moderated by Mr. Mark Pilling, Managing Director of AMP Mark Pilling, exploring key trends and issues shaping the future of the aviation industry. The distinguished panelists include:
1. Capt. Ahmed Adel, Chairman and CEO, EgyptAir Holding Company
2. Mr. Adel Abdulla Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer, Air Arabia
3. Mr. Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer, flydubai
4. Mrs. Ourania Georgoutsakou, Managing Director, Airlines for Europe (A4E)
In the afternoon, AACO members will hold a closed session to discuss administrative, financial, and strategic matters of AACO.
The AGM will conclude with a press conference at 16:45 on Tuesday, 4 November, in the Royal Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel, marking the closing of this year’s meeting.
