Morocco’s airport authority, ONDA, has announced that national airports welcomed 36.6 million passengers in 2025. The number marked an 11% year-on-year increase.
The growth is the result of sound strategic choices under the “Airport 2030” strategy, through which demand was anticipated in advance, infrastructure was adapted, passenger experience enhanced, and air connectivity was strengthened, ONDA added.
Casablanca Airport alone surpassed 11 million passengers by December, while Marrakesh Airport reached the 10-million mark for the first time, confirming its status as a top-tier tourism hub.
Rabat-Salé Airport, meanwhile, recorded an exceptional increase of 26%, reaching 2 million passengers. Overall traffic growth is driven by the Kingdom’s five main airports, which together account for around 90% of national passenger volume.
Casablanca represents 32% of total traffic, Marrakesh 28%, and Agadir 10%, while Tangier and Rabat continue to post strong growth rates of 17% and 26% respectively compared to 2024.
