Bilateral talks were held between the civil aviation authorities of the State of Qatar and Solomon Islands, on the sidelines of the ICAO Facilitation Conference.
The talks concluded with the initialling of an Air Services Agreement and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), allowing designated carriers from both countries to operate an unlimited number of passenger and cargo flights, with full traffic rights.
Following the signing, both sides discussed a range of civil aviation matters of mutual interest, exploring ways to further develop and enhance cooperation to serve the interests of both nations.
