Bilateral talks in the field of air transport between the state of Qatar and the Republic of Kazakhstan were held in Doha. The MoU was signed to allow seven passenger flights to the Capital of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan, and seven passenger flights to Almaty City.
This is in addition to the conduct of seven air cargo flights with full transportation rights between the two countries and operating any number of passenger and cargo flights with full freedom of transport to 11 international airports in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The two sides also reached an agreement on cooperation in the field of Code-share between the national carriers in both countries.
The MoU was signed by HE Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Turki al-Subaey, President of QCAA, and Mr. Talgat Lastayev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of civil aviation of Ministry for Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
