The Sultanate of Oman has signed four bilateral air transport service agreements with the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Zambia, and Cabo Verde. The signings took place during Oman's participation in the International Civil Aviation Organization's Air Services Negotiation Event (ICAN2025).
These agreements establish the regulatory framework for air transport services between the Sultanate of Oman and the signatory states, aligning with the rapid evolution of the civil aviation sector at both regional and international levels.
This strategic initiative forms part of the Civil Aviation Authority's comprehensive strategy to strengthen Oman's global air connectivity, expand its international air transport agreement network, and enhance commercial, tourism, and investment exchanges. These developments directly support the transportation and logistics sector objectives outlined in Oman Vision 2040.
