The State of Qatar has signed an annex to the cooperation agreement with the United States Department of Homeland Security on the Exchange and Protection of Security Information in the Field of Civil Aviation.
The agreement, which was signed by HE Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Turki Al-Subaey, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority in the presence of HE Mr. William Grant, Chargé d’Affaires, and interim of the U.S. Embassy in Doha, Qatar states on establishing the basis and mechanism for exchanging and sharing security information, protecting and exchanging experiences and increasing cooperation in the field of civil aviation between the two countries.
The signing of this Annex is considered a key to strengthen the infrastructure of civil aviation security from the administrative, practical and technical aspects.
