On 14 March 2023, SAUDIA and Boeing signed an agreement to order 39 fuel-efficient Boeing 787s with options for 10 more airplanes.
The agreement will include both 787-9 and 787-10 models; the Dreamliner reduces fuel use and emissions by 25% compared to the airplanes it replaces.
