Red Sea Airlines has signed an agreement with SMBC Aviation Capital to lease two new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, for delivery in July and August 2027.
Following its recent agreement with Boeing, the airline will also receive a Boeing 737-800 NG from Aergo Capital by end-2026 and is negotiating with international lessors for seven more aircraft, targeting a 14-aircraft fleet by 2028.
The expanded fleet will strengthen connectivity to Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada and Sphinx, and access to the Red Sea, the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, backed by continued investment in safety, training, maintenance, technology and customer experience.
