Entry into public places:
- To enter public places in Abu Dhabi, you must be fully vaccinated and hold a negative PCR test result issued within 14 days.
- To prove your vaccination and testing status, you must show the Al Hosn app (with green status), or the official health app from your country of residence.
- Unvaccinated individuals can enter to events, tourist attractions and cultural sites in Abu Dhabi with a negative PCR test received within 48 hours.

Flying to Abu Dhabi:
You do not need a negative result of an RT-PCR test for COVID-19 if:
- You are fully vaccinated or;
- You are under 16 or;
- You hold a recovery certificate (containing a QR code) from COVID-19 issued within 30 days before departure.
On the other hand, you must present a negative result of an RT-PCR test for COVID-19 done 48 hours before your flight to Abu Dhabi if:
- You are not fully vaccinated and do not hold a COVID-19 recovery certificate.
- You are transiting in Abu Dhabi and a test is required at your final destination.
As a visitor, you must have received two doses of one of the following vaccines, or one dose of Janssen, to be considered fully vaccinated and to fly to Abu Dhabi:

- Covishield
- Covovax
- Covaxin

- No booster is required, and you can have taken your vaccine at any time.
- Children under 16 are exempt.
- Holding your vaccine certificate is a must.
