Emirates to codeshare with Oman Air on Dubai-Muscat

Emirates is to codeshare with Oman Air on the route between Dubai and Muscat. Emirates operates Dubai-Muscat twice-daily while Oman Air operates three or four times per day. Through the codeshare, which comes into effect immediately, the carriers will be able to offer up to a six-times daily frequency on the route.
Neither carrier is allied to a global alliance. Emirates codeshares with several partners including Air India, Air Malta, Air Mauritius, Continental Airlines, Japan Airlines, Korean Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, South African Airways and Thai Airways. While, Oman Air has codeshare links with Gulf Air, Swiss International Airlines and SriLankan Airlines.
