Syrian Arab Airlines signs a contract for the purchase of two ATR 72-500s

Syrian Arab Airlines has signed a contract with ATR for the purchase of two ATR 72-500s. Both aircraft will be delivered later this year. These are the first ATR aircraft that will be operated in Syria.
The two ATR 72-500s are configured with 66 seats and equipped with Pratt & Whitney 127M engines. The cabin will feature In-Flight Entertainment (IFE).
