The main mission for AACO RTC is to provide cost effective quality training, and to assist airlines to achieve savings in their training budgets without affecting the quality or the sum of training programs
The main objective for establishing the AACO RTC was to provide management training in the Middle East and African region at a cost effective structure due to the lack of experts in the aviation industry in the Arab region in this field.
the first certification that AACO regional Training Center RTC received in order to be able to provide any technical, safety, security or any other courses that need to be certified by the C. A. A'S in accordance with the regulations of J.A.A, F.A.A and ICAO was that the Jordanian Civil Aviation Authority granted to AACO in 2005. It was then followed by the certifications of the Syrian, Yemen, Sudan, and Libyan Civil Aviation Authorities. AACO RTC receives the renewals of all these certifications on annual basis or according to the expiry date of each certificate.
While other centres offer training courses that focus on the complex & specific components of the Middle Eastern air transport industry, AACO RTC has successfully positioned itself as a valuable partner in human resources development for air carriers & aviation-related organizations around the world, including airline staff from various parts of the world among its trainees.
AACO RTC organizes an annual scheduled program ranges from 40 to 45 scheduled courses, as well as some additional courses in light with the need arise during every year. Also AACO RTC has adopted a strategy to promote in-house training activities which resulted in huge savings through train large numbers of airlines staff at their home base, AACO RTC organizes more than 150 in-house training courses annually.
AACO RTC through Industry partners Program provides annually a number of scholarships on training courses to cover the training fees of the airlines staff on the scheduled program and additional courses, these scholarships are being distributed as per the directives of the Industry partner sponsoring the fund as per their commercial relation with the airline benefiting from the scholarship, and it differs from one year to another.
as well AACO RTC organizes a number of courses financed through the airlines contribution where each carrier to be offered one or two free seats on each course, for example during 2009, eight free training courses were conducted, where each carrier was offered two free seats on each course with a sum of 16 free seat for each carrier, as to encourage airlines to send their staff for the training courses.
