The Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Kuwait announced the signing of a joint cooperation agreement with its counterpart in Hungary. The agreement is in line with the modernization of the policy of "civil aviation" to open the skies and encourage international airlines to increase flights to Kuwait as well as linking Kuwait International Airport with the largest number of international airports through a global network of airlines. The agreement will enhance air traffic and trade exchange, it also provides the addition of operational arrangements to enable national carriers in both countries to operate any number of direct flights for passengers and air cargo without any operational restrictions utilizing any type of aircraft. The agreement also allows national air carriers to enter into trade cooperation arrangements, including codeshare agreements.
