Second phase of QAIA’s new terminal project completed

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Airport International Group (AIG) celebrated the inauguration of the second phase of Queen Alia International Airport’s (QAIA) New Terminal Project.
Valued at USD 214 million, the second phase of QAIA’s New Terminal Project adds 43,513 square-meters to the Airport’s total area, raising its annual passenger capacity from the current 9 million to up to 12 million passengers, with future plans to increase the capacity even further to 16 million passengers per year.

انجاز المرحلة الثانية من مشروع المبنى الجديد لمطار الملكة علياء الدولي

تحت رعاية صاحب السمو الملكي وولي العهد الأمير الحسين بن عبد الله الثاني، احتفت مجموعة المطار الدولي بتدشينها للمرحلة الثانية من مشروع المبنى الجديد لمطار الملكة علياء الدولي.
وتساهم المرحلة الثانية لمشروع المبنى الجديد للمطار، والتي تُقدر تكلفتها بـ 214 مليون دولار أميركي، في إضافة 43,513 متراً مربعاً إلى مساحة المطار، لترفع من قدرته الاستيعابية من 9 مليون إلى 12 مليون مسافر سنوياً. مع خطط المستقبلية لزيادة هذه القدرة إلى أبعد من ذلك لتصل إلى 16 مليون مسافر سنوياً.
